Kara No Kyoukai ~The Garden Of Sinners~ Epilouge
Alex: Yeah, I do plan to go back and watch the films again, but that’ll be in the close future. Tomorrow. Or later today. Or next week. But here’s my review on the closing chapter of Kara No Kyoukai~
It’s just two people talking. Kotuko and “Ryougi Shiki”, the real her, stood on a hill on a snowy night, talking. Talking about everything thats happened, everything that will happen, and everything that could happen. Explaining that SHIKI and Shiki are mismatched people, and therefore, both incomplete. When one can only love and one can only hate, there leaves a middle. That’s Ryougi Shiki.
But, it’s a great finale. It closes everything really nicely, and even though it was just made to sell the DVD boxsets, that doesn’t mean it’s not great or anything. It’s probably better than great. It’s…soft, and touching. And crisp. It’s really like you’re feeling Ryougi Shiki’s emotions, as to use her words “This moment could be nothing more than a dream” It’s the perfect finale to a brilliant series of movies, and I couldn’t really ask for more.
Alex’s Score: 9 Meeps out of 10 (Great)
Dusk’s Score: 8.5 Meeps out of 10 (Very Good)
