The 15th Successor and Gintaro & Learning to Compromise
This one focuses on a shrine maiden who can see the herald of the family because she was born into a family of oracles. However, in this case, the herald is quite an old, bitter fox spirit, and the oracle in this case is relatively young and inexperienced.
The two don’t go together very well, and the first episode seems to be spending time exploring this. The second episode moves onto focusing on the people around Saeki, the oracle girl, and focus quite largely on her life at school. You’ve got the class rep and the snob, and the fact that the two don’t get along.
The politics of girls at school is never very clean and tidy, and they never all seem to get on together very well, especially when the bullied girl in question appears to have a screw or two lose. In the end, it’s all okay because they all make up after a fight, and become friends with each other. Gingitsune clearly has some appeal to it and it’s pretty adorable when you get down to it. It’s really something worth watching in my opinion, and i’m really enjoying how it’s a pretty sweet and cute view of the world. I don’t have much to say at this point because it’s all very straightforward as just another cute youkai anime, but maybe there’s something else to see about this.
